The Oaks of Lake City Equestrian Community

Situated in the rolling hills of North Florida, just outside of Lake City, The Oaks is a lifestyle community offering many acres of common area and miles of trails for your enjoyment or to simply absorb the unspoiled nature of North Florida. The Oaks is one of the few equestrian communitiesThere are two types of home-sites within The Oaks, equestrian home-sites and residential home-sites.

Equestrian Home-sites:

Parcels larger than two acres within The Oaks are considered equestrian parcels. With these home-sites owners have equity ownership rights in the community barn.  Currently, annual assessments remain at $150.00 per month for a sustainable community. All parcels within The Oaks were designed with direct access to common areas, greatly multiplying the available space for equestrian and outdoor activities. Open your back gate and acres and acres of natural Florida landscape await. You may ride under the grand Live Oaks or enjoy the water feature at the community cross country course with your horse.   At other times, you may jog the miles of looped trails or simply take the dog for a walk,  Equestrian Home-sites are not just for horse lovers. Come visit The Oaks today and experience life as it should be......

Residential Home-sites:

The Oaks offers one-acre and two-acre home-sites for those desiring less land.  A limited number of residents can enjoy the open space and direct access to the trail system. Nestled among equestrian parcels lie an opportunity to experience the open space without the higher maintenance levels of a larger parcel. Residential home-site owners contribute $250.00 a year to association maintenance and do not hold an equity interest in association property. One-acre parcels back up to a 300 foot corridor of common areas offering the open space of a traditional golf community. The main difference being, nature is the focus. From our large population of fox squirrels, an occasional deer, or a horse and rider, you can experience a rural atmosphere without isolation.  We urge you to experience The Oaks today.
