Welcome to Life at The Oaks

The Oaks community was designed for equestrians and nature enthusiasts alike desiring a peaceful lifestyle in the countryside. For families with children, retirees, or those seeking a weekend home, The Oaks provides a safe and refreshing environment to pursue ambitions or to just enjoy the simple things in life.

For equestrian residents, close to 350 acres are designed specifically for horse riding, whether competitive or amateur, English or Western. Competition-quality areas and facilities are strategically placed among the equestrian-friendly residential lots for ease of access. Every neighborhood is connected by a looped riding trail, which winds through the landscape for 15 miles. At locations along the trail are five areas reserved for equestrian recreation, each designed with a riding arena with an engineered surface or reinforced grass, two to three cross-country jump attempts, tie rails, and a seating area that provides a relaxing rest stop for trail riders and a comfortable viewing spot for onlookers to watch others in the ring. A centrally-located Equestrian Center comprises arenas for both disciplines of riding, a full-service barn with staff on-hand, and 40 acres of fenced pasture. The center is equipped as an instructional facility for ongoing lesson programs and annual clinics in various disciplines taught by CHA-certified instructors.

A life at The Oaks is equally diverse in activity for the non-equestrian. Wide-open park space in every neighborhood lends itself to sports practice and picnicking with friends and family. The trail system is also available for biking, jogging, and walking. And since dogs fill an equally important place in the hearts of horse-lovers, the community is canine-friendly as well, with a central dog park for socializing and play time.

A second phase of The Oaks will bring four more acres developed for family recreation. This park will include a playground, horseshoe pits, courts for basketball and volleyball, an outdoor movie theatre, and fire pits. With the masterfully-designed equestrian center from Phase I complete and debt-free, residents can expect the same of
Phase II.
